Webinar: Buy smart, sell smart - The Digital Marketplace

The Australian Smart Communities Association’s (ASCA) next Future Ready webinar on 19 July features Anselm Cox, Engagement Lead for the Digital Marketplace, who will talk about how the shared models library and collaboration space are helping local governments to avoid duplicating effort.

He will share lessons learnt as governments try to improve the liveability, productivity and sustainability of Australian communities. Anselm will also cover what smart cities expertise is available through sellers on the Digital Marketplace, with examples from local governments across Australia.

The Digital Marketplace does more than just help government buyers and digital sellers work together. With the recent launch of its shared models library at the ALGA National General Assembly, the Digital Marketplace continues to help local governments with their smart cities journey.

ASCA and the Australian Government have partnered to deliver another series of five Future Ready webinars to kick-start communities’ digital transformation journeys.

This second series will again bring together local government, industry, research organisations and innovators from across Australia, encouraging knowledge sharing, new partnerships and active learning.

More than 640 people took advantage of the first series of five Future Ready webinars. If you missed any live webinars you can watch the Future Ready videos on the ASCA website.

Future Ready complements the Australian Government’s Smart Cities and Suburbs Program by supporting local governments and their communities to collaborate with industry to formulate smart city ideas and projects.
