To kick off our Webinar Series for 2024, we heard from Peter Runcie, Natural Hazards and Smart Cities Theme Lead at NSW Smart Sensing Network.

Peter shared about his recent trip supported by ASCA to attend the Smart City Expo World Congress. He also discussed insights from projects throughout his career.

Some of these projects included:

• Best practise for local government’s use of IoT environmental sensors

• An initiative aimed at increasing the adoption of smart infrastructure

• Urban heat and vulnerability in communities
