— MEMBERSHIP
ASCA membership connects you with a national network of smart city practitioners, policy advocates and industry leaders – all working together to build smarter, more sustainable communities across Australia.
— WHY JOIN
ASCA has developed a membership structure designed to be fair, equitable and valuable for all members. Our approach supports not only cities and regions, but also private sector organisations and NGOs within our smart community ecosystem.
We’re committed to actively engaging our members and encourage you to participate, collaborate, and take full advantage of your membership benefits.
Membership is inclusive by design. Whether you’re a local council on the front line of community delivery, a private sector innovator, or an individual smart city professional – there’s a place for you in the ASCA community.

— WHO CAN JOIN
ASCA’s primary membership base has historically been the government sector, with a particular focus on local government. However, ASCA welcomes members from all sectors on the understanding that the goal is shared learning, collaboration and raising the standard of smart communities across Australia.
“Joining ASCA has been one of the best professional decisions I’ve made. The network alone is invaluable – I’ve connected with council leads and industry experts from across the country who are tackling the same challenges we are. The webinars, the Reference Working Group, the Summit – it all adds up to something genuinely useful. I always come away with ideas I can actually implement.”
