What we aren't talking about enough in Smart Mobility

Smart Mobility is an increasingly important topic in the Smart Cities and Communities conversation. However, it can be easy to get caught in the hype of automated vehicles and other emerging transport technology and miss the other important aspects of this subject.

During this webinar we will hear from ASCA board member and 2018 Churchill Fellow Zoe Eather, who recently returned from a 2 month trip around the world investigating Smart Mobility. From March to May 2019, Zoe visited the USA, Mexico, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, South Africa and South Korea, meeting with a variety of stakeholders in the Smart Mobility space and gathering real learnings about how these technologies are being integrated in each place.

Zoe will share her insights from her Churchil Fellowship experience, focusing on what we are not talking about enough in the realm of Smart Mobility and how this can enable more liveable Australian communities.

Objectives:

Provide members with insights into the challenges and opportunities of Smart Mobility integration around the world and how this can apply to Australian communities.

Zoe Eather - 2018 Churchill Fellow, ASCA Board Member, Founder of My Smart Community
