The webinar will discuss the role of parks and how they are forever changing – but there is a disconnect between the aspirations of smart cities, and where you can physically install technology within parks.

Teaming up with the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC), Hook Consulting is exploring the “Future of Smart Parks” research project which discovers which parks within a metropolitan region can support smart technology (in terms of a services, and community preference background). The study is applicable to all metropolitan regions in Australia and uses the case study of Perth.

Presented by Ieuan Hook is the Director of Hook Consulting, a Smart Cities and Technology Consultancy from East Perth Western Australia. Hook Consulting focusses on smart technology integration into town planning, landscape, and urban design projects.
