An Australian delegation is heading to the Smart Cities Expo World Congress in Barcelona this November 5-7. Led by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA), the Internet of Things Alliance Australia (IoTAA), the Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA), and the Digital Twin Partnership (DTP), the delegation will be attending the world’s largest smart cities expo.

Recently, some of our ASCA Alumni participated in an Advisory Group for Standards Australia. The members helped to support and advise in the creation of Standards Australia’s Smart Cities Position Paper titled ‘Smart Cities: An Essential Enabler for Australia’s Future’ which was released in April.
