ASCA Reference Group - Expressions of Interest Now Open

Do you want to play more of a role in shaping the future of Smart Communities in Australia?

ASCA is delighted to inform members that in response to member feedback received throughout 2022, the Board has agreed to pilot a new Reference Group to enhance interactive member engagement, sharing of best practices and thought leadership.

The reference group will tackle various topics related to smart communities and will provide direct feedback that will help shape and influence the future direction of ASCA. The group will be member-led, gathering insights from in a safe, confidential environment where all views will be heard and acknowledged.  By getting involved you will also be able take advantage of networking opportunities and use it as a professional development opportunity.

So, if you are a Smart Communities / Smart City professional who is passionate about seeing the sector mature and evolve and fancy the idea of meeting regularly with like minded people to help make positive change, then this group is a perfect opportunity for you. Ideally we would like to see this reference group with representation from each state and territory, and with a good mixture between City and Rural community representatives. There will be up to 6 meetings scheduled each year.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, then have a read through the Terms of Reference, and if you are interested there is a short online form to complete.

STEP 1) Download the Terms of Reference and Review

STEP 2) Complete the online EOI form

The Expression of Interest Process will close at 5pm Monday 20th March.
